Sets or retrieves the target element to be animated.

The targetElement property applies to the transitionFilter.

Syntax

HTML <ELEMENT TARGETELEMENT = sID... >
Scripting object.targetElement(target) [ = sID ]

Possible Values

sID String that specifies or receives the value of the element's unique identifier.
The property is read/write. The property has no default value.

Remarks

If the targetElement is not specified, the parent element of the animation element is implicitly defined as the target element.
